Job Description:
The potential candidate will be responsible for working over the entire project development life-cycle. The candidate will be focused on gathering business and system requirements in support of new markets. The person will also be responsible for increasing the efficiency of the company’s online sales by undertaking various researches and cost-benefit analysis. He/She will also be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and understanding the e-commerce needs and requirements of the clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with various internal business stakeholders and external third-party companies to identify and document designs and specifications
- Breaks down high-level business and user requirements into a functional product design
- Write formalized functional requirements and user acceptance criteria
- Review and formally approve functional requirements with business stakeholders
- Oversee software projects through the software development life cycle
- Communicate and review product designs with the development and QA teams
- Participate in the estimation and scoping process
- Reviews development design to ensure requirements were interpreted correctly
- Oversee the change control and management discussions and processes
- Perform and coordinate software acceptance and regression testing
- Coordinate and manage the release of the software
- Proactively manage and set deliverable timelines and ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner
- Continually ensure clear and timely communication among all stakeholders and involved parties
- Act as a platform subject matter expert for analysis and requirements definition relating to development and related applications and services
- Help drive a data-driven decision-making culture
- Proactively assess and mitigate project risks
- Work with and mentor team members to maximize team potential
Job Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunication, marketing, management or any other relevant fieldwork experience may substitute for the required education
- Experience with the implementation of an E-commerce or ERP system
- 4+ years in the e-commerce development sector.
- Hands-on experience in online Market Research, Product research and Sales/Marketing Analysis
- Experience in handling the Amazon marketplace will be preferred.
- Good in analysing the financial performance of the business and linking it with business performance.
- Expert in time management and the ability for achieving the given tasks within the allocated time frame
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
